Good morning,  I have a question about a Poland 2 zlote 1932. It is 22mm in diameter, weighs 4.4 g and is .750 silver content. The question I have is it is missing the back eagle stamp and the side stamp. It has only the front stamp of a woman. Is this rare? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,  thank you.

Hi,

welcome to numista, your coin is an example of PMD (Post Mint Damage), you can even see the marks from the file, which removed the “blank” side. Only worth its weight in silver.

Thank you for replying.  I have no idea about coins, these are my father-in-laws coins. I do have a question with your reply though, if it was filed down then it would be have to be thinner, however,  it is not. It's actually slightly thicker than what is reported. Just curious with this.

Ok, so upon further research i noticed a huge discrepancy in what I wrote about the coin and what the actual coin is, I used Heritcoin AI, which gave me the wrong information. The coin is actually a Poland 10 Zlotych, 1932, Queen Jadwiga. It is still as thick as what is reported and the weight is the same.

Of course AI gave you the wrong info - Artificial Incompetence
