British West Africa 1 penny coin

Hello all. I have a British West Africa 1 penny with the H mint mark and a centre hole. The date is not divided by the Star. All searching I have done shows the date should be divided by the star. Please assist. Is this a rare or common variety?

Yes for 1/10 pennies, no for 1 pennies.

I'm quite surprised no-one so far has asked for pictures of both sides. 

For such inquiries, if not provided with photos, it's pretty much always the first thing we ask for.
