Could anyone help me identify some exunomia please? I found these (coupons)? in with a batch of WWII era notes from the Netherlands and Germany (my grandparents lived right along the border of the Netherlands here at this time) in my deceased father’s estate items. All the bank notes date from 1910 - 1950. My father also has a great deal of old coins from around Europe up until the 80’s when they immigrated that have now come to me, which is what brought me to this site in the first place. I joined this site so I could catalogue and track them for insurance purposes. My question now is: Are these tokens possible WWII ration tokens or something similar that my grandparents may have had? I am not looking to dispose of these tokens as they make up part of our family

heritage. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I obviously can’t go and ask my Dad about this anymore!

No idea what specific you did with them but you seem to put them on a Distribution coupon card (so some kind of rationing system).

That’s really helpful, thank you. I’ll also ask my Dad’s cousin if he knows a little more about the family history side of things, as well as my own cousin - he has some contact me within a group who cares for war graves for fallen solders of WWII in the Netherlands so I’m sure they have plenty of military history resources who might be able to explain it a bit further perhaps. Like most systems I’m sure it varied a bit from region to region. If I get really desperate I might even go to the war memorial where I am and ask for info there. (I’m in Canberra and we have a massive depository of WWII info at the War Memorial here, but they’ll likely know less on other countries, but sometimes you get lucky!)
