i just  sent a package of a few coins to lithuania in a trade after i sent them i seen this blog on foreign country custom laws and i read it and it said that coins were banned from being imported there i actually wrote coins on the customs form do you think they will get there or will they return them has anybody hsd experiences shipping there
Probably there would be no problem, if sent envelope and not a 20kg box of coins.
Have not problem getting money here, but next time you should write "souvenirs" or smth else.

For the future, I suggest you ask the person-recipient about the rules of customs (import and export) to avoid such situations.
RUSSIA ---> GERMANY ---> USA
I sent one to Morocco marked "collectible coins" and it went okay.  Morocco bans coins from import, too.  I'm going to try to avoid doing that in the future, and use "Numismatic tokens" or "Carded Tokens" or some such thing.
ya i asked him he said they should be fine but he never said anything about writing on the customs form
i heard that too to put down numismatic supplies or something of that sort ill probably do that for now on that way i wont have to worry about it
