Check here on the View Sale Offers

His coin seems to be the MULE coin, the sale offers are for the normal coin, I think.

But without pictures, noboby can be sure that's a real mule coin…

Catalogue values for the two coins (Km89 & Km90) which make the mule are a few Dollars, on the sale offers they are double that - up to $10. If you look at the Numista value and sold items on eBay this will give you an idea as to what price they sell for, compared to the Catalogue and asking prices.

Now of course, you want to know about the Mule, which has a Reverse from a different coin, with a slightly different lion size and lettering, different 1 and rim dentils. This isn’t a big difference from the original reverse, but a difference nevertheless. Krause doesn’t seem to have recognised the coin, so there is no number for it, and thus no catalogue value, so you need to search for recorded sales of this mule. Apart from that, the only thing I can compare it to is an Egyptian mule that I know about (5 Milliemes - Aswan Dam) which has a catalogue value 10-25 times higher than the 2 low value coins it is muled from. However because this coin is an FAO coin, there is greater interest for collectors of that series.

I would hazard a guess that if you could find your mule coin for sale, it would be reasonably priced 2-5 times higher than the two commemorative coins it is muled from, putting it at a comparable catalogue value to the Aswan Dam mule. However I don’t believe you will find many sales at that price (which is of course your best bet at finding a comparable value).

Hope this helps a little.
