And an another related question to the one about 1954 bombay coins:
https://coinsofrepublicindia.blogspot.com/2011/07/1962-decimal-series-coin-set.html
This page claims that all 1962 sets (proof and both uncirculated) have the bronze version of 1 paisa (KM#8).
SCWC does not even list a proof set, but it lists two uncirculated sets, and according to it both of them have the nickel-brass version (KM#8a).
KM#8 has only the “in sets only” yearline in Numista, but no proof.
In both pictures the coin definitely does not look nickel-brass. I have not been able to find any additional pictures of the uncirculated sets:
(https://marudhararts.com/printed-auction/auction-no-13/lot-no-856/unc-set-of-regular-issue-1962 , no pictures of coins)
But found few proof sets. These two definitely have KM#8:
This one I am not sure. Looks like it could be KM#8a, but might just be the light:
Does anyone know if both have been issued in sets, or just KM#8?
Personally I am inclined to trust the first website more, because SCWC has many mistakes regarding sets.
