Hello everyone. Im sending a photo of what i believed is a 2003 rev. IIb variety. Based on my analysis.

honestly i still doubt it because it is very confusing comparing them to the photo guides on the numista comment section. Maybe an expert among you can pinpoint for me a very distinct part that would describe it perfectly. Or can someone provide me a photo of the said variety?

educating is a good part of this matter.

thanking you much all in advance.

Why are there year lines for reverses II.a and II.b and no explanation of what defines them on the coin page?  Are we supposed to assume the are the same as I.a and I.b except for the part that is different?  It seems to me that many of the  Philippines coin pages are like this. Do  Philippines coin collectors work to some unknown catalog that describe all these variations?  Maybe some of the  Philippines members could straighten out these pages so members like the OP can look at the coin page and figure out what they have all by themselves?

Agreed. Very confusing with no clear explaination as to what constitutes the differences on each year line. In addition, please correct me if I am wrong, but this looks like the reverse of this type yet it is titled obverse. I believe there is no dedicated Phillippine referee and perhaps that is the root of the problem.

There are 3 main types of the reverse:

Die I

Die II

Die III

Die IV

Yes, that is about the only thing that is clear. The OP's is clearly 2003 Die II, then it get fuzzy.
