sorry, but I don't see any difference in the images. both have 14 ribbons with 1 extra central ribbon below
at the center of the emblem (if you like to add this to the 14 you have a maximum of 15, but no 16).
I don't know who added this data in the title. But I can't see any difference.
And no - I wouldn't like to add a new date to the sheet, because both are verified and completed.
It seems that the title is wrong - there might be no such thing as 15 or 16 "rubans"... but who knows.
I am waiting for images to show us - anyone in to post them???

you're right - it's 14 or 15 ribbons then. but what side of the comparison belongs to which coin?
I am going to check the images on the database's coins at once     

I corrected the english version to have the information now, corrected the french version to have
either 15 or 14 ribbons (not counting the center one) to prevent misunderstanding

 Je viens de lire vos réflexions à propos des rubans des pièces d'URSS; le problème se pose pour toutes les pièces de la période d'après guerre,( 1k, 2k, 3k, 5k, etc kopeck) à savoir 14 OU 15 ou bien 15 OU 16; il faut s'accorder pour savoir si on compte le central qui en fait un de plus.

Je vais essayer de mettre tout le monde d'accord !!
Quand on regarde bien la gravure de la pièce on a , non pas 14, 15, 16, 17 rubans mais un seul qui fait  plusieurs fois le tour des gerbes de blé .
Je pense qu'il faut faudrait parler de tours plutôt que de ruban.
C'est mon opinion personnel .

above. BUT: if you're right that the center ribbon represents mother russia it should be at least
mentioned in the text field ("description")!

Je suis d'accord avec Makake; je trouve cela plus normal de ne comptabiliser que les rubans latéraux; c'est d'ailleurs ce que je faisais et comme il n'y avait jamais le nombre escompté, j'ai  ajouté le central.
  C'est comme cela que je vois la chose!
