Thought today was my lucky day : bought at a flea market a couple of silver coins at silver value - 1 of them being a peace dollar.
When at home I wanted to check if I made a good deal, I discovered the 1928 was a more valuable year, so I checked weight... 2 grams off !!! Magnet test : it sticks Somehow I managed to pick out the one fake in the lot the seller had. I'll never leave home without magnet and pocket scale ever again
I am no expert but I would say that the O in "In God We" is a bit off. Sorry about your luck, it has happened to me before. I find that it makes you more cautious when buying coins in the future.
