1977 India Proof Coin Set

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, I sell a variety of items on Ebay so am not a coin expert at all, I came across the forum whilst trying to do a bit of research.  I have a few coin proof sets that I have listed tonight, they have been easy to list apart from a Sudan set where it said I could not list them and a Republic of India set where it said I had to put them in novelty coins! Can anyone tell me the reason for this? Are there a lot of reproductions of this set and if so how do I know if they are real or not?

The 1977 India proof set is not a novelty, they made 2544 sets and is quite sought after...you should be able to list it like any other proof set

Hi, thanks for replying, it still won't do it - really strange! I can't see anything wrong with the listing, it just gives an automated message as soon as I try to list it. Hmm, think I'll have to give them a ring. Out of interest, does anyone know what it would be worth?

Ha - I just rearranged the title and it accepted it! Very bizarre - annoying though as it will end a whole day later than all the others    Oh well, at least it's done - thanks again, Jen
