swap confirmation

Why is it that when the second party has to confirm the swap, the coins asked from this party all get a green check, even if they hadn't been checked before confirmation of the first party ? The way I see it, when first party confirms the swap, all coins that have not been checked by both parties should be unchecked.

It also happened to me on my last swap that I asked my swap partner to redo our swap.

this happens and lands you in an awkward situation. a problem that should be solved quickly.
