Dutch Cent Identification

I have what may be a peculiar Dutch 1 cent coin that I am looking for more information on.

It is dated 1942 but is of the 1913-1941 copper style as opposed to the 1941-1944 zinc style that it should be.  

Is this a legit coin?  Any info would be helpful!  Thanks in advance!

I think Suriname is the other country that around that time also issued Dutch-looking coins.

Yeah it is

Coin of the Kingdom of the Netherlands issued in Suriname and Curaçao (note the palmtree for the overseas territories, instead of an acorn for the mainland territory) and minted in Philadelphia, US (note the "P"), during WWII. Minted in bronze and brass.
