Another fake coin on eBay that is being sold for huge bank. Fake silver and colorized silver-plated "zodiac" medallions are only crap being sold as coins on eBay recently, and it's really a huge shame.

Hi there, out of interest, what distinguishing features should you look out for when identifying these particular Chinese coins as fake?

I got this coin https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces15923.html (I think) recently in a bulk lot and I'm not sure how to make sure it's not fake.

Thanks

Main thing to set off the alarm bells would be that it's a Chinese 'silver' coin on eBay...
Sadly most people no longer knows what honesty is. And internet sales have make it so easy for people to try to get easy money by selling fake stuff knowing that the system isn't strong enough for them to ever be caught and properly punished.
