A far as I know, one Cuban Convertible Peso (CUC) = 26 Cuban Pesos = 1USD. Is it means, that face value of 3 Pesos (KM# 346a) is wrong in Numista database?

Yes you are right.
In Cuba exists a 2nd curreny for tourists:  CUC
3 Pesos of the other curreny is nearls 2,20 Euro
I thought the 3-peso coins were not from the convertible peso series.

They began production long before the modern series of convertible peso coins.

I have seen a few lots of coins brought back from Cuba by Canadian tourists (Canadians love going to Cuba): sometimes you see a $3 coin in those piles, but it is in the same pile as the normal, CUP Cuban peso coins. And Krause also says that the $3 is not a CUC convertible peso coin.

But it's all very confusing 8~

I visited Cuba 2 times ;-)
This coin is not for tourists. But if you go small cities and buy on the street food, you always get the other currency back.
The prices are always in $ and you have just to feel which currency they mean...
