I have recently acquired a few coins, mainly Canadian and US. I am researching the coins, but there is so much information out there. Where do I go to get accurate information on the coins. Some sites say they are only worth their weight in silver, others could be worth$$$$. I need to know what to look for, as in flaws etc. Sites even vary on the circulation amounts. Any help would be appreciated.
The key to a coins value is it's grade. I noticed on your coin list on this site you have graded most of your coins as VG, which is a very low grade, and when I looked on your website the coins that I saw did tend to look as if they were generally VG or F. If you search 'grading coins' on the net you will find a few sites which can give you a better idea on grading. Despite their poor condition, any silver coins should still be worth 'bullion value' (their weight multiplied by the current spot price) but for any coin to exceed this value it really needs to be XF or UNC. Having said all that, there is still no reason why you can't enjoy the coins for what they are.
Best regards and happy collecting,
Rick
