Bad feedback not my fault

After nearly 100 great trades on Numista I have received my first negative feedback (a 2 star from Malaysian trader). My profile stated standard mail at buyers risk--apparently my letter to him has been lost in the post.
I did try to remedy the situation by offering 2/3rd of the original coin numbers (18 replaced by 12), but he got greedy and picked high value coins.
I also offered to buy his 18 coins off him (the trade he sent me) and these worked out to about $12.00US value in Krause, and I wanted to pay this by PayPal--He stated that there was 4 silver coins involved - but this is not true, he would not part with them even though he ticked them off in the trade line-up
I have now decided I will not trade with countries other than Australia, USA ,Canada, and Western Europe, and this is a shame as I had made many friends throughout the world through this site

this even happens in the Netherlands (western Europe), I sold something to someone, gave them a rating, although they paid by bank, sent the item. Finally when they get it, they think the price is too high... com'on why did you buy it in the first place then? (for the idiot check Ebay, thats 15 Euros, my price 10 Euros.)

could I ask to   cancell by bad rating too?
because I sent  to my opponent   coins anyway.   I mean - for free.  And I have posted  also about it here in the forum.

Hope you will  make a right decision.
thank you.

Are you checking the wishful listings on ebay, or the sold, realistic prices?

I'd have to see the condition of the Poland Cu-Ni 1949 coins, before judging.

You may have been way off on the 50Kr Bi-metal 1993. I didn't check the others.
even if   it  should  calulate for $1 , anyway, the total price was  too worth $ 35.  and, regarding  postage price - its not depends on me.

there were coins , more that 60 pieces. , and  some of them are quite  scarce, and , the main thing - his mesage: "  hi Dat !  This price is  great for me !"  And we agried about  this price.  Anyway, I sent him his  coins.  and case is  closed.

I dont ask to cancell  whole  comment,  but change " no star" to " no rate"  at least.

Again - I sent him  60+ coins for free, and paid about 12 euros  for  postage.

I  guess my rate must be changed.

Everything is relative. Where I'm from, a 1 lb. bag of various nice world coins is $7 -$9, as previously covered in this topic... https://en.numista.com/forum/topic12867.html That is 90 - 100 coins, on average.

Maybe it was the right thing to do, as an apology for trying to take advantage, a little bit?

Verweis : Dato MikeladzeI have  spent too much time to prepare your  envelop today, - more than   1,5 hour! Do you think, I dont have more bussiness  on Friday evening? Or maybe you think I    need or miss your  $35? By the way, Im doctor of Surgery, active surgeon of abdominal cavity , and also Im   Senior  Analyst  of the most largest  Insurance Company of  Georgia.    1 hour of my time  in Surgery operating room costs $150-to $ 450  and  someone lifeI And I  was sitting all the Friday  evening and  boring with your coins to  amke you  happy instead  of playing with my children,  whom I see a few  minutes per day !

Dear Jacub,
I completely understand you, - I was  student too, but, please  dont mix coin price with fees price.  I dont need to calculate your total claim. I see just that you are pay for each coin $35/ 70 = 0,5 dollar. And you see that Im sending you  coins .  All other is postal fees and Paypal fees, and etc.  If  I will use  envelop which  costs  $ 10, my claim will be $ 10. If  I will go to the Post by bus,  my claim will + $0,5, by car  + $7     so on  :0  :)  :)  but I dont ask you to pay also  envelop price, wrap tape price, stapler nails price, petrol price which I must to use   on the  way to Post  etc...   :)  I just sending you  coins.  By the way, Georgia still use  stamps,  so you will receive an envelop with  valuable stamps on it.

So, if you want a package  up to  250 gramms, you will have to pay  $35+ 15, and  $35+ 22 for  the  package  more than  250.

If you want to buy them, I wil  give you    nice price. But I accept only Paypal.

I don't respond well to used car salesman tactics, like "I will give you nice price" and I would not have paid anyone $35 dollars for some non-silver, common world coins. Maybe 10€, if the condition was really appealing. I would need quality photos for that.

Anyway, thanks for publicly sharing your opinion on the matter. It was an entertaining read with secret links and gave me the opportunity to share my opinion on the incident. If you never brought it up, I would not have noticed the issue.

Swaps with strangers do involve some risks. So I did swap with a fellow dutchman who was happy with the coins he got, but I did only got 4 stars. Who cares anyway, he did add some great coins to his collection and me either. Forget that 2 stars rating and go over to the next one.
Cents are money too!
Suggestion: Set up dropbox, take good photographs of all coins, and request the same.

That way, each party is under no illusions as to what is expected.

Hi Teslasghost--- Yes  i do this on every occasion- (have always done so)take photo of the coins involved and also scan of the letter prepared for mailing- the fact that letter got lost in post is the problem ,and receiving bad feedback after several attempts to rectify situation- and also have a scan of the coins he sent me- there was no silver involved, and a full Krause value on the coins of less than $12.00-and i offered to reimburse this amount thru paypal, but trader stopped all conversation and placed inappropriate feedback-I  think he was asking for more (getting greedy and trying to make a gain out of a bad situation)--considering that he was aware that coins were sent at buyers risk I was not impressed
still waiting for Bam to fix feedback as he promised, but he is not responding to  messages
