Maybe I haven't found this feature yet, but I am desperately missing the possibility to sort your collection. The world map is a great thing to look at, but after I put in some coins into my list these appear in no special order but one after another like they were added. Sorting my pieces per country / KM# number would be a great addition. maybe a list to choose from the countries already present in your list, then a list according to KM. better yet, with divisions according to monetary changes, different government changes etc.. If already present, how can I see them?
Just under "dashboard" there is "your coins". You can find there all your coins sort by country, and you can choose to watch only the coins of a single country.
maybe my fault (blinded?). yes it sorts by country. but it does sort by value not by date or KM#, which would be nice to keep track of series (missing coins). something that would be nice, too: if your excel export file would get a coin quality column. if your entries would be read out it would make it much easier for myself to buy coins with better quality to replace older ones.
some more ideas:
- maybe add dropdown menu for metal entry (to choose without having to write it yourself)
- same for coin identification items like shape (rounded, edged)
or rim, edge profile (smooth or else)
- dropdown menues could also be added for years section concerning metal (if used coin metal changes over the years) for an extra column
sorry if posted in this thread without making a new topic "ideas" or whatever.
 Coins order
"Your coins" are currently sorted by country (alphabetical order), then by currency (chronological order), value, date and finally by KM#. I've just added a line to separate countries and currencies in "Your coins", as I lately did in the catalog index.
It is currently impossible to sort coins as you like in "Your coins". However this is possible when you make a search in the catalog. The best way is to search in your collection. For instance, type "all" in the keywords-box and select "in" (search in your collection). Then you can sort by date or facial value.
If you want, I can add the possibility to sort "Your coins". Sorting by facial value or date seems relevant to me. KM# doesn't. But I'll add it too if you think it would be helpful. Tell me.
You said that coins were not sorted by value. This occur when the facial value is not registered. You can register it by modifying the coin and completing "facial value in figure form" and "currency".
 Excel export
I plan to modify the Excel export, in order that you can choose yourself which data must appear. It will come, but not now. This needs time, and I currently lack time.
 Dropdown menus
I don't understand where you would like dropdown menus. In Excel file? In the catalog search engine? In "Your coins"? In the page to modify data about a coin?
first of all: thank you for all your work and dedication. I myself plan to contribute to this to the best I can. So these ideas are less criticism but suggestion to make it more comfortable and standardized for participants to join the work progress in filling out the entry forms. I meant dropdown menues for the catalogue where you fill in yourself. giving people a list to choose from makes it more easy, more inviting to fill in information. not to mention that the entries would be all the same. we have here a mix of french / english titles and informations added. since you could make a french / english version for all those dropdown menues it could be a further possibility to help the people's needs here. you might want to choose SHAPE > round, EDGE, rimmed and in french the corresponding terms if needed (choice: english or french language site maybe? just for the future. nevertheless dropdown lists would standardize and shorten a lot of work)
