I already had one successful swap in Numista and it was really wonderful experience.
While swapping I have noticed that the weight of the coins in the swapping list are being summed up and displayed for both the parties. Can anyone please clarify if it has any significance (to come to a mutual agreement, is it necessary to make the total weight equals for both of swap partners) ?
Hello,
I use the total weight for calculating the shipping coasts.
But don´t forget to remember the packaging has a weiht, too.

I also use it to have an idea to know how much shipping will cost me.
Different people have different rules for swaps, usually written in their profile or communicated by writing to you.
Some people trade 1 to 1 or according to value of a coin.
I haven't yet seen anyone swap according to weight, so I guess it would be very rare or not existing choice by any collectors.
