I have inherited some old Canadian and USA coins. They are all circulated type. One coin puzzles me though.
THE 1939 Canadian King George silver dollar has a large R stamped on the left side of the parliament tower and a large G stamped on the right side of the tower. IT appears that the coin may have been made with these letters stamped on it as the letters look quite nice but I have not seen any coin marked as such. Is this something that someone has stamped themselves, or was there a coin made with the letters RG stamped on it. The letters appear to be about 4-5 mm in height.
