Hello Friends,
New member here,
Hoping learn all about coins...
I have a question....
How can I tell the difference between
#KM920 and #KM920a?
When I measure the coins they all measure 38mm and its difficult to see that .1 difference.

Possibly the 1977 Silver Jubilee 25 pence UK coin. That link is for the silver version of the standard cupro-nickel coin. And there is no difference in design, just the metal I think. The silver version is better quality and probably in a case (which may also have a certificate). Mostly it will be the standard issue coin.
