I can get uncirculated coins of the SADR in the denomination of 2 and 5 peseta. This is an officially unrecognized part of Morocco that has its own coinage. I have both coins. they cost me about 2 US dollars and 3 US dollars each. My supplier does not ship outside of the US. I'm willing to order and resend if if any member has coins that I need. These coins are hard to get. Tony.
I really recommend all the members of numista to do that , these coins are really hard to fin , even for me ( i'm moroccan ) , i didn't find them in the sahara , there's only the moroccan dirham ... These coins are really RARE ! i got the 1 , 2 and 5 pesetas that i bought in France
Tony let me know if you can find me other S A D R coins .
Best Regards
Ghali

I've offered both of these for swap since I joined. Don't recall any requests for them.
Not as difficult to get as, say, Greenland or Danish West Indies or Biafra.

Did some one mention Danish West Indies? I just happen to have found one of their coins in a box of rummage coins I had bought. Took me by surprise, I hadn't even heard of the Danish West Indies before then.
Before you ask, no I don't want to swap it! (wonder why not <g>)

i think i requested them from you chasinva but i didnt have any coins you were interested in since that is one of 3 countries i need to fill my map sadr(western sahara) uzbekistan and greenland besides a few island nations that are covered under larger authorities complete but those three seem to be the gap on my dashboard but im waiting to get greenland last i always seem to sidetrack and lose focus of my main goal or have to many different project collections going on at once to complete

Yet they are categorized as "circulating" coins on Numista ...
"In the freed territories of the Western Sahara the Algerian Dinar circulates though there is nothing to buy there. In the Saharawi refugee camps (in Algeria), three different currencies, the Algerian Dinar, the US Dollar and the Spanish Pesetas see use. (Thanks to someone on the newsgroup soc.culture.africa for this information.) "
The Numista Referee for Western Sahara should ride on his camel and cross the wall to inspect ...
