Hello,
I came across a Brazil coin that I initially assumed to be a token of some kind because the reverse side was completely smooth/blank and there was no denomination on the front.
I finally found the images of the 1942-56 Brasilian 1 and 2 cruzeiro coins. The front side of my “token” is definitely the obverse side of the cruzeiro coins, with the engraved map of Brasil and double lines. Unfortunately, since the denomination and year would've been on the reverse side, I really don't know which this should be. More to the point, is there a record of variants/errors of the 1 or 2 Cruzeiro coins not being struck on the reverse side at all?
my coin is 23mm wide but only weighs 5 grams, possibly because it looks like it is only 2 mm thick instead of 2.3 (although I'm eyeballing this with a standard ruler).
Anyone know what I have here?

You should ask this in a new discussion in the Coin identifications and valuations forum, and include images of both sides of your coin.

23 mm would be the 1 cruzeiro.
