I like the BWA coins. I've got one of those 3d and I've also got the 6d and shilling as well. I've got a big lot of coins coming soon and a big job lot to work through and I've got one upgrade this month so far which I'll try to post later.
Verweis : "Idolenz"Some of the better ones but some are also from the end of the last month
What's this one? The scratches are unfortunate because otherwise it's a really cool looking coin. Oh and good work on those Danzig ones too, I'd love to get some of those, Danzig have really nice postage stamps too

It is a 1 Kreuzer 1682 from Württemberg-Öls, interestingly it's a variation or somebody fucked up on the carving of the die so that the STERN M came out as STNM. I also thought a woman was depicted on it so the search was a bit longer than necessary (those medieval dudes with there long hair )
The Danzig coins I got for around 1 Euro each incl shipping, they go for much more normally so I can't complain.
Dato, that's the oddest looking thing I have ever seen. I would have put it down as a piece of broken ornament, very interesting
I am always picking up sovereigns when they are in a nice condition just out of habit now, I had the opportunity of buying 2 x 1913 full sovereigns in the same deal of which I will keep 1 and the other will probably end up with a fellow member who collects them.
Both in a very nice condition with an edge nick on both.
I deny nothing but doubt everything, opinions are made to be changed, how else is the truth to be gotten at.
I've been upgrading my Gibraltar coins including some off apuking !
I I would also like to thank Phil for taking in some tokens for me and also Darryl for the extremely nice gift I'm over the moon with it - it'll be something I'll keep forever :)
move also got this curious Hibernia farthing heavily countermarked.
and a decent-ish upgrade for my 2 quarts regal coinage.
And the new one, which remarkably the previous owner had graded at "F" Once again my scanner makes it look worse than it is, full lustre and detail on the hair, I would put it at least at VF+
While searching through rolls of quarters I just found my youngest silver US coins I have ever found in circulation two 2013 quarters from proof sets, Great Basin and Fort McHenry, both minted in San Francisco. I also found two silver dimes, three silver quarters and a coin from an asian country I cant identify.

I picked up a small lot of these Tranquebar Kas. Usually there are in poor condition, but these are outstanding for a scarce to rare coin...

Verweis : "Dato Mikeladze"UNBELIEVABLE AND AWESOME QUEEN TAMAR AE DOUBLE FELS.

*Cough *Cough
no kidding, one day I hope to find one of these most manly coins, perhaps after my kids are finished with school and have their own houses.....they are 1, 3, and 4, so it will be awhile.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Great stuff from anyone. Ive never seen these Georgian coins before very interesting.
here two highlights for me this month so far, for my Numisnautica collection.
1. British medal of Charles II commemorating the battle of Lowestoft between the british and dutch.
and 2.
A Swiss Sechzehnerpfennig of Bern awarded on Easter of each year to the 16 highest Government officials
Not sure why on the reverse there is a monkey holing a mirror and sitting on top of a lobster ;)
If you like coins, medals and tokens with ship motives follow my new instagram account with regular updates @numisnautiker
From time to time I sell some coins on Ebay make sure to follow me @apuking on Ebay.
I wish I had a decent quality scanner or camera because most of these are way better than they look in the pictures...especially the South African penny and the Netherlands half cent. As well as these additions I got two upgrades. Although it doesn't look like it in the scans, they're both beautiful uncirculated coins.
Then there was this curio that I had to get, a little medal minted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the John Wickliffe ship and therefore, the founding of my lovely city Dunedin in 1848
On top of that I also got some white zinc for Fluke to try his hand at, and a small clutch of silver, Oh, and a few trades, if you look at my swap list now you'll see there's actually something in it now.

Please could you PM me or type here how much this cost?
Manchukuo 1 Fen coin. It is one of the few non-metallic circulating coins. It shows just how desperate the situation was in the latter stages of the war for the Japanese and the puppet empire of Manchukuo.
I am off the thinking that I have a problem when gold is on offer, at the right price that is
1881 USA $10
Condition is good with field marks on both sides.
Sorry Fluke but the 1913 sov already has a new home, you did get some new toys though
I deny nothing but doubt everything, opinions are made to be changed, how else is the truth to be gotten at.
Hungarian 1993. silver token commemorating 300 years of the Holy Roman Emperor, Leopold I, declaring Debrecen a free royal town. 42,5 mm diameter, 31,2 gram heavy, 92,5% silver token, got it as a gift from relatives after they heard I started collecting
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.
My latest one is a coin I've wanted for years again but they seldom become available so any grade would be better than none. It's PCGS graded which is strange as I wouldn't put it anywhere near VF !
I just bought the 1/10 oz Gold Mercury dime commemorative from the US Mint for $205. It was released at noon today, and when I went to get it, the website was overloaded, and all of the phone lines were busy. I finally got it online 15 minutes after release.
It has a limited mintage of only 125,000, and will probably sell out in a few days. Below are some pictures from the Mint website.
After a so loooong waiting time, I registered my Nabataean AE15 of Aretas IV.

Beautiful coin, congratulations ! Probably some people can say that it must be cleaned more, and there is still some traces of griund, but for me it's beautiful in such condition.

Verweis : "Slyrex"This month, none, but a few of my recent finds are: this one shilling William Bros. supply token and a sixpence William Bros. supply token.
I love that square one! It's very different. How old are they?
And aye, I've slowed down as well to get the collection and spending habits under control. My uncle decided to give me a few of my late grandads old collection, so I've been busy trying to catalogue those.
At Christmas my wife set up and account and got me a super surprise package from good ole Phil, well she has done it again for my birthday!
Thanks Phil for helping my wife, and thanks for the very cool extra civil war token.

I'm delighted to help such a charming young lady, so full of that Southern courtesy. Happy Birthday!
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
I have not bid on or won much recently; only these three ...
'Bermuda 5 Cents of 1980 Missing the word BERMUDA'
Not sure what would cause it, as not worn, so maybe stamped at an angle.
'Art Nouveau sil. br. plaquette by Stern,1918: A long way to Peace
...at last...at the harbor...safe and well...'
A nice addition to my French medal / plaquette collection.
'Error Ten Pound note A Bailey JA46 Missing All Red Numbers, 2014 / 2015'
An error note, but also only cost £7.87 plus £0.95 so less than face value!
Today we celebrate the King's birthday in Holland and as usual there is a huge flee market in my town going on. Normally I don't find a lot of interesting items and especially no coins/banknotes. But this time I got lucky: I found a small acryllic box that contains some modern US coins:
The coins have a face value of about 13 USD, but the seller was kind enough to let me have them for just 8 euros, so I got them for a little bit below face value. I only bought them because they lot had a lot of common quarters and dimes that I needed to fill up my date collection, but when I checked the quarters I saw something that immediately cought my eye:
BOOYAH!!!!!
