I have also made this mistake, and I believe there is no way of reversing this.
I requested a small addition to the system, which would include a second chance button which states, are you sure you wish to confirm.
I requested this for , I do not want to exchange, as well, but nothing happened.
I always opened up a second exchange and get your exchanger to do the same and when you are both completely happy, send both sets of coins in one go.
It did happen to me too. It's very annoying but you can't change a thing anymore.
In my cases I did notice my swap friend and did start a new swap.
Resuming, everybody's happy. :)
I have another question pretty close to this one:
I noticed that some of my swap partners were able to cancel the swap ("I don't want to swap") and later restore it to the active state. Anybody knows how to do it?

If a swap has been confirmed by one side the other can turn it down and then it will still remain active. If both members confirm then I think your out of luck. If no one has confirmed it and it's turned down then I believe you would have to open a new swap? These are my experiences hope it helps.
