As I stated in the rules and guidelines thread, I can donate some of the prizes, but I would like some help if anyone is generous enough to help. I would like the prize for each section to be a coin from that section if possible. I would also like them to have a catalogue value of between US$5.00 and US$10.00 so we can have a bit of consistency. Also a grand prize. Please let me know if you can help and if possible, what coin you will be putting up as a prize. The categories are:

A - Pacific and Australasia (Neilithic - Silver Fijian florin)
B - Asia (sujit_kumar - India 1940 1/4 rupee)
C - North America (Steve27 - Shield nickel)
D - South America (Don Chori - Mexico 100 Pesos)
E - Africa (Fluke - trio of coins)
F - Middle East (Apuking - surprise coin lot)
G - Europe (AngHol - Swedish 1 Korona)
H - Ancients and Exonumia (Apuking - catalogues)

Thank you.

Overall prize - silver proof $5 coin from New Zealand
I would like to give away some prizes.

1 I have is a large lot containing mixed coins from all over the world
and
2 some numismatic books such as the WC catalogue (This could eventually be more than winning lot as I have several books I don't need)

I could definitely donate a nice European coin.
I'll donate this US 1868 Shield Nickel for category C (the coin is actually better than this quick scan indicates):
Brilliant, thanks. Apuking, just let me know which categories you want to offer up the prizes for and I'll put your name down.
That is quite a hefty value Steve (about $26.00 in VG). I was trying to get the prizes of an equal sort of value, but if you don't have anything else then we'll take it.
Yep, I guess we'll just have to accept that! ;)
I could also donate the grand prize? I have a good coin I can think of, maybe I'm a bit mad but I'm in the Christmas spirit.
Ill let you choose which category you want to add them.

Prize 1 - Surprise Random World coin lot

Prize 2 - Three Numismatic books (Gigante 2013 edition, a book on conder Tokens and a book on Gold French Royal coins. All used).

Holy Smoke Batman! Talk about putting your money where your mouth is.

I wasn't going to participate after the recent fiasco and the nonsense over the Christmas gift exchange but I reckon participating is the least I can do after so much effort and generosity. It's not the value, you understand, it's the sentiment.

I'll get busy on a few entries, especially for those regions coming up short.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
It's one of those Gollum coins, isn't it?
Ha, no it's not a Gollum coin, it's this coin.....in fact it's that exact coin because I'm the one that added it to the catalogue. You'll have to forgive the fingerprints, it wasn't me, it was whoever had it before me.
Nice! And very generous on your part. I am looking forward to this competition; as with the Christmas gift exchange, I really appreciate the spirit of camaraderie this sort of thing aims to promote. It will be interesting to see everyone's favorite coins on display!
