Hello

These coins are only worth the silver content in the coins. Most 20th Century coins that are silver, in average or worn condition circulation are only worth the intrinsic value. The intrinsic value is the bullion value or its silver content.

At the bottom of the page for each coin displays the bullion value (In your preferred currency). This is how you can determine the value of these coins. Most 20th century coins, in average or worn condition are only worth its intrinsic value. There are only a few exceptions.

Example:
Bullion value: 3.89 GBP

I would be interested in buying these coins, via PayPal, near its intrinsic or bullion value, to fill the gap in my collection. If you are interested, please private message me.

Hope this helps. Have a good day.

Steven
Numizz,

These coins will, just as London UK mentioned, be worth only the bullion value in circulated condition. However, if any are UNC, they will certainly be worth more than just the melt value.

Have a good day,
Rob

I'd disagree with both statements above. Most of these coins should fetch more then melt value if they are VF or better.

I'm still a newbie at this but I have to disagree with the coins being worth only melt value and am fairly certain that some of these coins, like the 1915. 2 Lire and the 1943. 1 Shilling, are worth a lot more even in average circulated condition... now, if someone would like to sell me those 2 coins in VF for melt value pm me and I'll gladly take them :°

Also, I recently sold some Yugoslav 1938. silver dinars in VF condition for above melt value without any problems in finding a buyer and those are certainly not rare or popular coins.

But as I sad, I'm still very new to all of this so I could be very wrong...

Upon a second and more diligent look, some coins are worth only BV, but others are worth more.

The 1958 Canada Dollar, for example; even the inflated NGC price guide says BV at AU:

https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/world/canada-dollar-km-55-1858-1958-cuid-206-duid-963

And the Spanish 100 Pesetas; BV in XF and below:

However, coins like the 1915 2 Lire and the USSR 50 Kopecks are worth more than BV in average circulated (VF) condition.

Italian 2 Lire:
