Nuremberg Chronicles leaflet, professionally double sided framed. Printed in 1493, First Edition German Version (the rarer of the two) with color. From when I bought it, I was told it is a published example, (used as reference in a book.) Looking to swap for silver/gold or a possible sale. It's from a larger book so its pretty big. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks!

Does it have proof of age
I am struggling to believe this is genuine, many images similar to this are readily available using google. Then it can easily be edited and printed with most home printers.

You would need an iron clad certification to prove it is genuine before it can be sold as authentic.

The material that it is printed and the way it is pressed onto the paper cannot be imitated with a printer. The reason it looks nice is because most of these were still parts of books up until the 1800s when people began scrapping them and selling them as parts of books. Examples that are certified look just as nice, typically they aren't found in bad condition or a condition that looks aged at all.

As well as when you hold it up to the light it matches up with the type of paper that is on other paper documents of the time period. (Small horizontal lines and scattered fibers and spotting.)
While I appreciate your comments about the appearance, it can still be created using a printer with graphic editing. By printing you would use the same material several times over, like layers. The first print can be an almost transparent when printing, this will create any kind of lines like you describe, very similar to a watermark. Then you can layer the design in the same manner to create an antique toned look.

Printers can take a variety of materials to print on, they are not just restricted to common paper.

even with discrepancies, it would still need an iron clad verification certificate from a reputable company. Especially considering the age it is meant to be, I am sure you can appreciate that from a strangers point of view. Many things nowadays can be counterfeited easier than you think with technology advances. Saying it "looks real" is not really assuring the next owner that it is 100% genuine.

I am just voicing my own opinion, in no way am I trying to insinuate you are selling what you know to be counterfeit, I just wouldn't think about touching it without solid certification from a highly regarded company.
