Hello everyone. I hope you all are having a great New Year.

My wife and I won an auction recently that had rolls of circulated Mercury Dimes in them in various conditions, and I was able to fill a good bit of my Littleton folder with them.

I was wondering if anyone who had them would be interested in swapping "one for one" of the dates I need?

Here is a list of the dates I am missing:

1917-D
1918-D
1919-D
1921
1921-D
1923-S
1925-S
1926-D
1926-S
1927
1927-S
1928-D
1929-D
1930
1930-S
1931
1931-D
1931-S
1936-S
1938-S

The ones I have to swap mostly seem to be from the 1940s, in various condition, but still silver.

If anyone is interested in swapping, send me a message and we can work out the details.

Take care,

Ken

Hi Ken. I have two of the dates - 1919D G and 1927 VG. If you have any of the following a 1-1 swap may be possible - 1941D (x2) and 1942D. I'm looking to upgrade VF coins so condition is important, EF+ minimum. Nicely toned would be an added bonus, I'm not a big fan of shiny white silver.

I've got plenty of gaps for earlier dates but they are probably the same ones you are looking for.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

I found a 1941D and a 1942D, and they look good to me, but I know some folks grade coins differently, so i took pics of both sides of each so you can see if they are what you are looking for.

Just let me know if these are okay for you and we can go from there.

Take care and thanks for your help.

These are the ones I have. Just showing.
I have a 1921 and 1921D.

How many do I get for these? Just one each?
From your list, I have the following:
1917-D
1918-D
1919-D
1921
1921-D
1923-S

1926-S
1927
1927-S
1928-D

1930

1931
1931-D
1931-S
1936-S
1938-S

However they're going to be 2-3 of yours for 1 of my common dates, and a huge number for a semi-key date.
Thanks for the pics Ken, they wouldn't be an improvement on the current ones. Maybe next time.

I'm not that worried about condition. Good is okay with me. I just want to fill the holes in my folder, so I am basically looking for a "one for one" swap.

Take care,

Ken

Thanks, but thats not what I was looking for. I was more looking for a "1 for 1" swap, based on condition of coins.

Thanks for looking and take care,
