Have the above banknote in my collection, but for a long time had no idea, and still do not, as to its authenticity.
I attach a photograph of one side only as the other is totally blank.
I hope the photo does it justice

If it is genuine, does it have any value, although, it is not for sale.

Should you need any close ups of any of the areas, please let me know.
Thanking all in advance for any information you may have

Out of curiousity, here is the same note on Colnect:

Does this make my banknote genuine?
It does not state a valuation. Any thoughts?

Is the serial and signature handwritten?

Yes, both of them seem to be hand written. I will add close up photographs once the sun has come up. A bit dark now.

Brighter now, so have taken these two photographs

Hope this confirms my thoughts on the hand written details

It seems to... the color change of the ink along with the ink being handwritten and not part of the plate printing supports authenticity.

$15-30 based on low to mid condition...

It is not the best condition then neither would I be at 154 years old. Value is nice to know, but will not be selling.
Swapped it many years ago for a few football programs.
As it is believed to be genuine, I will add it into my collection.
Thanks to all

That's a great addition to your collection. Congrats.
JRo69,
Thank you for those kind words. Banknote collecting is not my first hobby, but I have a small collection, which grown over many years, mostly from holidays and obviously, a few collectors fairs, where I cannot resist the small temptation to add a couple more.
Coin collecting is still my number 1 hobby
