Hello. I am new to Numista and so some things are a bit confusing where swaps are concerned. I have listed several coins that I have for trade, but not seeing much in the way of telling what i'm interested in except this...which is why i'm doing this now.
My MAIN collecting interests are: Philippines Peso 1903-1912 (KM#168 and KM#172); Mexico 1 Peso Caballitos (KM#453); Puerto Rico KM#20-24, and TS1.
Secondary collecting interests: Silver crown-size coins from anywhere (Pre-1920) and anything pre-1700.
I trade value for value....World coins from NGC world coin price guide. US coins from Coin Dealer Newsletter (CDN).
Metal for metal trading: Generally, people trade silver for silver, gold for gold, copper for copper. I trade value for value...under the condition that if I am trading you silver for copper or nickel the pieces I am trading for cannot be Fair to VG condition...but easily readable and worth the doing. For example, I don't mind trading a silver half for a copper cartwheel...unless the cartwheel is merely a blob of copper that once had writing on it. Yes, I will trade a Silver dollar for a skilling, as long as it is of similar value and reasonably easy to read. In other words, I don't trade for culls. Ebay has lots of them for sale cheap.
Thank you for letting me join your site. I like the whole idea of it. (I came across it by accident). Happy collecting!
