I know that in the KM catalog you find the thebes from 1985 (1t, 2t, 5t, 10t, 25t 50t, p1). I'm sure that's wrong, I live in Botswana since 20 years and goes through all the coins I get, but I haver NEVER seen a 1985.
In case that they were minted in sets as presents, then the low prices given are completely irrealistic.
I'm sure the 1985 coins never came into circulation.

I did ask this question because I am collecting African coins by year and mintmark and any variety, and in both Krause and Numista-catalogue is 1985 mentioned even with the whole serie of coins, and because I like
to complete the whole Africa collection if possible, I was wondering about this 1985,

In Schön-catalogue there aren't any 1985-coins, either. For example KM#3/Schön#3: Schön lists only 1976, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1987-1989 and 1991 (all years which KM lists, but without 1985). It fits to the collector's message in Ole's posting.
