I'm going to Florida next week and got some cash at the bank recently, just $200. Most of the notes are new and crisp, and have sequential serial numbers. I put some pairs in my collection replacing singles but will have to spend the rest. Bummer!
Yes, I have had a similar situation with the new UK £10 note. Just went to my local bank and asked for £100 and the cashier gave me 10 banknotes in lovely flat condition. On checking the serial numbers, noticed that they are consecutive.
Just do not have the heart to spend them.
Verweis : "COINMAN1"I think that if you found the Kew Gardens coin in your change, you would not want to see anything for sale at 50pence that you would like.

Is there anything we can buy today for 50p?
Once a year in a nearby town they have a small fair.
Only a few coin dealers but you can pic up great condition cheap 1700's coins tossed in with regular pennies and halfpennys. Also a few foreign silver pre-decimal with the wrong silver dates (uk copper-nickel) (after '47) when they still had .500 - .800 silver content for 20p

This happened to my grandmother once in the 1960s with the 1 Markka 1963 banknotes, but there weren't so much notes, I guess. I have them somewhere because she gave them to me.
