We have been experiencing some weather extremes here in the former French possession of Oklahoma. It has been in the 70s...then in the 30s. Just today I left for work it was in the high 60s. By the end of the school day it had dropped to 27, started raining and it froze. So I could barely open my car door and then they called off school for tomorrow. So to relax I played some easy listening...like Aerosmith and Motley Crue. Had a mixed beverage...chocolate milk with a side of dill pickles. And looked thru my banknotes...allowing the vignettes to take me away from where I am. One vignette got me thinking of lime in the coconut... any guesses which one? Here is a clue. Coconut.

It took me a while before I understood what you were talking about. First I you meant the 1970's..and the the 1930's? Since no-one outside the US is using Fahrenheit, it's a little confusing when it is just referred as in the 70's and in the 30's. :P

Anyhow, spontaneously I thought of the Maldives. Oh, I love the Maldivian banknotes.
I love the Maldives notes...that is a good coconote...but not the one I was thinking of...

I'm going to try the Eastern Caribbean notes.... if not, it's most likely going to be a tropical island country's banknote isn't it?

At least you do not live in Finland. It's still snowing and it's probably the coldest time of the year. Subarctic climate.

We have to live with the car door problem 6 months a year... At least we can prevent the ice on the car by covering it with carpets.
