The following banknotes were bought today in a local shop for £15.00

​Actually, you got them for about half their face value:

£5 + £1 + 10/- + 10/- +£1 = £8
You got beautiful note at an very cheap rate...

Once I was at a coin fair and there were mixed euros in a world coin box for 20p each.

Funny how you all like the £5 banknote, whereas I prefer the centre one.

Now, that gives me an idea. Lets start a campaign to have a 50pence banknote printed, even if it's a one-off to commemorate something.
I do not want it made of that plastic stuff like todays UK banknotes.
What are the chances? Nought to minus millions!!!!
