How many people are actually planning on regularly participating? Maybe last few days was just because of all those hard to get French colonies, but I'm just curious to know.

Good to have you onboard as always!
Do you focus on modern notes by the way? It's just that I never see you post notes from before the 1970s, and as a vintage notes collector I find that weird

well, i posted three danzig notes 1916-1919 among a few other (i think).
i am collecting world notes in general, and i really don't mind older notes, but i'm probably too picky for my own good and only collects unc notes.
my oldest one is from 1792 and the newest one is dated 2017. but majority is probably from 1980 and newer, but i've never really thought about it.
this week i just got a bunch of new notes, a few japanese occuation notes, indochina and more, so that's the 40's for ya!

btw, do you have a colnect account?
Yes I do, in fact it's only a week old!
I'm still learning the ropes on Colnect but according to it my banknotes are mostly from around the 1920s-1940s, although my oldest is 1792-93 as well (I'm guessing many people's oldest is a French Revolutionary Assignat note).

the boom in early and mid 90's is the breakup of yugoslavia and soviet union
By the way, I remember there used to be a "fast" 1 coin per country "Post your coins by country A-Z" thread on Free Discussion..... anyone interested in doing a "slow" 1 country per day thread like this one but for coins over there?

From Wikipedia;
Kaieteur Falls is the world's largest single drop waterfall by the volume of water flowing over it. Located on the Potaro River in the Kaieteur National Park, it sits in a section of the Amazon rainforest included in the Potaro-Siparuni region of Guyana. It is 226 metres (741 ft) high when measured from its plunge over a sandstone and conglomerate cliff to the first break. It then flows over a series of steep cascades that, when included in the measurements, bring the total height to 251 metres (822 ft). While many falls have greater height, few have the combination of height and water volume, and Kaieteur is among the most powerful waterfalls in the world with an average flow rate of 663 cubic metres per second (23,400 cubic feet per second)
