Welcome to Numista!
I hope some other members look at it.
I thinks it looks very strange
Crude or no details

Hello,
I think it looks shiny only because it had been cleaned.

There is supposed to be a brilliant variant for this year, so it might be one of these, but I tend to agree with Choucas: it appears polished.
In my opinion, it is very worn (no horns, no hair detail, cheek not well-defined, etc, etc) and not worth the expense of grading.

Thanks guys. I don’t know if they are polished a friend had a few in a box in his desk for the last 20 years or so, and gave them to me. Thanks again for the input.

I cannot decide whether it was polished or even plated with another metal.
In any event, if you pay the fees to send it to be slabbed, they will keep your fees and return the coin in a "body bag" (a plastic bag, with a statement as why not graded or slabbed)--definitely a waste of money.
