Verweis : "tcust"Can anyone identify what's written on these or the era/mint they are from?

Thank you!
Check here first, to try to identify issuing state: https://indiacoinsmarks.wordpress.com/2013/10/30/common-identification-marks-on-indian-coins/
Thanks. I had already seen it but it could be from anywhere from Mughal to Hyderabad or any other ones that issued coins in the Nastaliq/Persian script!

If anyone can read it then it could be the surest way of knowing.
You are right that these coins can be from anywhere. They can be Mughal, any Princely State coin or early British coins
The later Mughal and Princely state coinage is quite complex. Reading the script is also not very helpful in most of cases because the coins will be issued in the name of Mughal Emperor and will have almost similar inscriptions on coins of different issuers. So mint name, different mint marks and the year in which the coin is issued helps in determining the exact issuer.
It would really help if you provide images of both sides of the coins in correctly identifying the coins.
Also same dies are used for different denomination of coins. So weight is important in determining the denomination of coins.
