Wow, we're at last in sight of the end!

It looks like we'll finish on the 30th of September, which is just four days away itself from the 4th of October, which is the one year anniversary of the original A-C thread started by Daryl nearly a year ago (@ALLRED1950). :wiz:

wow! then maybe i should try to add four more territories, so we can end on the exact one year mark! :O:O
@ngdawa

Maybe you could add on a few banknote versions of Tokens and Exonumia, like "Fantasy issues", "Bonds", "Cheques", etc.? Just a thought.

I actually got this note for free with a bunch of other notes (this time from French West Africa!) :P

I think we had European Union, but I don't know anybody who collects Euro notes rather than spend them (there probably are, given how people collect Euro coins, I just am clearly not one of them. :8D)
23rd September: Western Samoa
Just realised I nearly forgot to call in the new day:

Completely forgot!
I'll do it now.

1929 Yugoslavia 100 Dinara
Printed the same year the "Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes", formed after WWI, was officially renamed Yugoslavia (meaning land of the south Slavs).

1931 Yugoslavia 1000 Dinara
A really big note; there's a very clear French influence here, with the multicoloured palette and the paper quality. This is a carry over from French designed and printed pre-WWI Serbian and Montenegrin notes.

1935 Yugoslavia 500 Dinara
Depicts the young King Petar II, who succeeded to his father's throne at the age of 11 after Alexander I was assassinated in Marseille, France the year before (1934).

1936 Yugoslavia 20 Dinara
Again, another note depicting young King Petar II at age 13.

1941 Yugoslavia 50 Dinara
Dated April 1941, the same month the Axis (Germany, Italy, Hungary, Romania & Bulgaria) jointly invaded Yugoslavia in WWII, carving it up into zones of occupation and annexation.

1941 Yugoslavia 500 Dinara
This note is uncirculated; and it probably never did, as most notes of this type online appear to be. It's dated November 1941, months after Yugoslavia had capitulated to the Axis.

1944 Yugoslavia 20 Dinara
This note was issued by Yugoslav Communist partisans towards the end of the war, operating under Tito. Yugoslavia was the only part of occupied Europe where a full scale guerilla war was going on in resistance to Axis occupation behind the front lines, and by late 1944 Axis control of the Balkans had deteriorated completely.

Last day of the thread!

1st October: Zimbabwe

I have a bunch more of the Special Agro Cheque notes, but I can't be bothered to photograph and post them all here. So here's a pre-existing photo of my high denomination Zimbabwe notes (I believe these are the most modern notes I actually spent money on deliberately!).

@ngdawa
Great collection! :`

I'm fairly sure some of the lower denomination, pre-hyperinflation notes are actually scarcer than the famous billion and trillion dollar notes from Zimbabwe.
2nd October:

We've gone through every country from A-Z, from the original thread begun by Daryl back on the 4th of October 2017 to today, two days short of the thread's one year anniversary! :wiz:
