Little musical game: find a title

Hello,

Here's a little game we could make, totally coin non-related.

Rules are simple :
You have to find a song you like whose title includes the word the post above you chose. If you find one, write the title (and the band or artist), post a youtube link if you can and choose a new word for the following person!

The world would preferably be in English. It may be an adjective, a noun or a verb. It can be a weird, complicated, word, as long as there exist songs with that word in their titles.

Note : Synonyms don't count

Note : The word should be given in English. Nonetheless the word in the song name can be this very word but translated in another language.

Any kind of music is welcome!

I hope it's understandable enough, I thought it was a funny way to share our favourite songs while playing a little game.

I'll begin with an easy word : Love
Do synonyms also count??

daft punk - instant crush
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5uQMwRMHcs
Main Referee for Hutt-River
Verweis : "Muenzenhamster"Do synonyms also count??

daft punk - instant crush
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5uQMwRMHcs
Well, they are not supposed to, but I didn't say it that's true. Moreover you have to choose a word for the person after you, if you don't, the game can't keep going. (8
ok then i pick the word "blue"
Main Referee for Hutt-River
I'd have to go with Willie Nelson's "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain"
https://youtu.be/JA644rSZX1A
Next up: Rose
Very interesting game, I like the idea. :`

I'll go with "(I'm Looking at the World through) Rose-Coloured Glasses" from 1926:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfZ5-et1FEQ

Next word: Sea
Fine!

Here is Iron Maiden - Sea of Madness
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9CAObxn3ww

Next : unknown
Soundgarden,Superunknown
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwdjreJKggg

Next:Way
ilovemanchester
Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats - "Baby I Lost My Way, (But I'm Going Home)"
https://youtu.be/6CANiKSpokM
Up Next - let's keep it numismatic - Money
ABBA-Money,Money,Money

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uP0sC_s5EfE

Next word: KANGAROO
'We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.'
                                                      Sir Winston Churchill
There are a few ;)
'We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.'
                                                      Sir Winston Churchill
Verweis : "Numismatist uk"There are a few ;)
I don't doubt it, but there aren't any songs I know or like with Kangaroo in the title. :D

Also I hope Choucas does not mind if I steal the idea behind his avatar, but with a republican twist. :°
I'm sure Slim Dusty had a few.
I'm surprised none of the Aussie Numisters got this one, but there were a few good ones by Slim Dusty. But I'll go with "Scrap With a Buck Kangaroo"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw5h9krx4GQ
Up Next: Rainbow
Verweis : "silver_smith"I'm surprised none of the Aussie Numisters got this one, but there were a few good ones by Slim Dusty. But I'll go with "Scrap With a Buck Kangaroo"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw5h9krx4GQ
Up Next: Rainbow
Exactly the one I was thinking of! Q

Cass - Very nice!:°
'We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.'
                                                      Sir Winston Churchill
L'Arcobaleno, Adriano Celentano
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUk7VCGQBGM

Beautiful song for those who love to travel, or have had to travel regardless.

Next word: light
IndyPipps

- "Ahhió, e che sarà mai!"
Another very old song from me: "By the light of the silvery moon" from 1909:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZkV3wof5Xk

(As you can see I am quite interested in music from roughly 1890 to 1940!)

Next word: Sun
Can the word can be translated to another language, or does the title/song have to be in English?
Verweis : "CassTaylor"
Also I hope Choucas does not mind if I steal the idea behind his avatar, but with a republican twist. :°
I don't. (8

I do not have much knowledge in music before 1940... But it definetely has its charm. I should dig a bit this era.

I got a few with the word Sun. Here's one :
Wardruna - Solringen
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rEeEKYbVX8

@ngdawa : I think it's nice to get songs in other languages, so that people can make discover songs from their countries also. Let's say that the word should be given in english, but the song name may have that word in another language, like Indiana_Pipps did and I just did.

Next word, let's stay in the sky : star
Yeah, I like a wide variety of music- just to make it clear I'm not one of those people who goes around ranting about how modern pop culture is destroying society. ``- I'm genuinely interested in music from that period, from a historian's perspective, and it's also interesting that many of the old songs I enjoy were themselves derided in the same fashion by similarly short-sighted conservatives when they were first released.

Here's one about stars from my parents' vinyl collection, a bit more modern:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxHnRfhDmrk
Starry Starry Night (1971)

To give it a slightly numismatic theme, next word: Gold
Everything that Glitters is Not Gold - Dan Seals

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GU9qWR6Bosw

God I love country music!

Next word (continuing with the metals theme) - Silver
'We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.'
                                                      Sir Winston Churchill
One of my personal favorites: Trampled by Turtles
"Silver and Gold"
https://youtu.be/-oWhYRFiL20
And for a New Year,
Up Next: New

Happy New Year Everyone!
For the new year, I believe this song has been mentioned elsewhere recently, but I couldn't resist:

"Happy New Year" (1980) by ABBA:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Uo0JAUWijM

And speaking of new, next word: Old
Old Man river - Jerome Kern

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mZCU_4DONk

Next word - Past
'We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.'
                                                      Sir Winston Churchill
Greensky Bluegrass - "Past My Prime"

But the album version is good too.
https://youtu.be/sDVannqk0uI

Next up: white
Another holiday=themed song:
Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" (1942):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9QLn7gM-hY

I've bene watching a lot of WWI films recently, so next word: March (either a military march or the month) :8D

Next word - Alamo

Verweis : "Numismatist uk"March of the Templars - Preliator

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b11-37Me_a4

Next word - Alamo
I have a feeling you are thinking of a specific song, considering you are giving a city, and not a normal word. ;) (Yes, I have to google it! :P )

By the Beautiful Sea (1914)
