token issued to Senators in Cologne to be exchanged for a flagon of wine. Struck intermittently between 1730 and 1797 the date of 1730 was unchanged. Billon with a copper plug to deter forgers. The guy who I got it from told me that it's the first ever bi-metallic coin.
