Hi - I'm a new member here at Numista. I'm from the US and I've been collecting coins forever. But now I'm more interested in banknotes. I saw that a few members bought "bulk lots" of banknotes. Where can I find these bulk lots? I've been to a few coin shows but never seen an auction for "bulk lot" banknotes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (PS: Other than ebay of course!) Thanks for any help.
You dont have to buy as lots on ebay. You can go to the ebay stores and buy lots or individual notes for very little. Noteshobby is my favorite ebay store. I'm sure there are others. Also try educational coin company.

Speaking about the real world for a minute, there are actually shops/coin shows where you can buy an assorted lot of world banknotes for say, 10 or 20 euros. In Paris on Rue Vivienne there was a shop with boxes full of old notes that had a price on the side (although this was two years ago, and most shops there don't do bulk lots).
And of course if you're after a lot of say, 100 of the same Pick# then coin shows are your best friend, they often have those modern notes in literal stacks.
