Hi, does it look like a fake or not? What details or tests could help me?
From the various coins that have recently come into my possession, this is the best:
specifications; weight gr 26,4
size mm. 39 * 2.5?^(should be 2 or 2,5?)
gravity test, almost good, not far from the value of silver, but I'm not sure, because the scale is not very precise on gr.0,1-0,2
Any suggestions, thanks.

ping test....: see point 7 on that link

Your coin looks like to be worn, so that can explain the weight difference

As I am a forgery collector, I do see always fakes...:°

This looks like silverplated copper, the writing is very thick...

Rijkdom bestaat niet uit het hebben van veel bezittingen, maar in het hebben van weinig behoeften
The sound test is not very reliable for my ears. Maybe I try bleach. You are always kind.
- at the end, the best test is the gravity test into the water, do you agree?-
Is there some redish color on the coin? Or is it your light?

Hello,

(Almost) Certainly fake- at least going by the photos you posted. :snif: Could we ask about its provenance as well?

It has that """toning""" effect around the characters you often see on modern Chinese fakes, and as with all rare coins that come into your possession, always be at least a little suspicious.
No red, it is my light.
Maybe silver plated coin, after the bleach test.

Provenance:
recently, visiting Taiwan, I noticed a giant number of copies of Asian coins. It was a big antique warehouse in which one of the many sellers had more than a thousand false coins in big bags. I noticed the worst copies, but there was, on the side, a collector's album with better products. I had brought the scale, and I took sixteen coins with the weight almost equal to the amount due. I speak Chinese, and I realized that the seller was ignorant on the subject. In sixteen, 4 are genuine. A small attempt ...

I bet none are genuine. A warehouse full of fake coins, except 4 genuine ones? Really?
Really..bet on your business
