Are you interested in collecting Philippine coins

Moved by ZacUK from Numismatic questions to Swaps and trades
Yes, we are  8)
I am, and I suppose you want to swap with me, with you giving me coins from the Phlippines. But when I go to your profile there is no place for me to exchange with you.
user: 1999
registration date: 25.04.2012

first swap:

user: olee1999
date: 27.04.2012 !???

comment: nice swap, can be trusted even if he ship last !???
No coins listed to exchange, joined 25th April, receives one positive feedback on the 27th from another new user with zero trades and an almost identical user name implying that it's safe for collectors to send coins first.

How do you manage to make a trade with no coins listed to exchange. What are the odds that the first and only  trade of both users happens to be with a user with almost the same name who is also new to the site? How is it possible to conclude a trade in just two days, especially if one of you sends the coins, then waits for arrival before sending the return package?

Are you two by any chance related? Are there any more variations on the 1999 theme doing magical swaps?

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll pass.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

LOL! I saw his post and came to a similar conclusion too!
This will become more and more common as numista becomes more famous, and there will be some scammers that will be very convincing, I would only swap with a new user if he shipped first. I have wasted a lot of time starting swaps with members who never even got back to me at all, I wish this could happen https://en.numista.com/forum/topic7331.html .
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
I can understand the sentiments expressed here. However, I feel at present that we should await a response rather than continue the barrage.
You're right we probably shouldn't have. Might be a 10 yr old practicing his swaps and we dumped on him...
He is most likely a thirteen year old :P
Agreed Ben. You are like the little angel on my left shoulder but unfortunately the little red devil on my right shoulder always has more fun sounding suggestions.

Just to make it clear to you and others, I have made no accusations, merely asked a few questions. The answers or lack of them will speak for themselves.

By-the-by, is it against the rules to have more than a single account? If it isn't already then may I suggest that it ought to be. Using sock puppet account to build up a false sense of reliability is as old as on line coin swapping.

Rest assured that good will out. As sure as eggs are eggs, we'll sort things out.
Hello,
After some verification, it appears that 1999 and ole1999 are the same person. According to Numista Terms of service (item 4), it is not allowed to have more than one account. Therefore the account "1999" has been deleted.
thank you  Xavier!!!
