Almost a good bill

Just want to share my heartbreak. I received a $1 bill with a serial number of G82828289G. 7 bills too late

I've had a few similar deals also. The cool numbers are fun to find but I have radar notes that no one wants. Not sure if too many people care beyond the personal satisfaction of finding a special number.

To me it's just a small plus if the note has a fun serial number, but I wouldn't pay extra for it.

​I wouldn’t either, especially since they can be found in circulation. If it was a large note from the late 1800’s, then I probably would.

Actually I find that the longer the number the harder it is to get a repeater or radar number. Examples

You can see from here the 1st radar number with the least digit, is very easy to get. But the one with a greater number is very difficult to get.

Soild is all the same regardless of the number. Just that chances are also very slim for the longer number ones. Because the long the number the harder.

Then you combine the above with a prefix, the chances of getting it becomes more if they print more with short digit. In Singapore is a digit followed by a prefix and 6 digit.

All in consecutive numbers (the 10,000 came in a 10 batch + 4). And since I just need one if each, I thought I'd just ask wich one I should keep, in case some would be "better" than the other.

I picked 211672 out of the 5,000, 040530 from the 10,000, and 107777 from the 20,000 batch.

Hi there, as long as you like it, that is the mose important. To me the most important is the condition and the history of the note. All the others like number are secondary expect serial no 000000 and 000001. These most of the time can be found on Specimen notes.

The chinese love the number 8, Because it means prosperity. They hate the number 4. Number 4 means death in Chinese and number 7 means go away. But the most funny combination is 748. It means go and die. Not go die then prosper. Wa ha ha ha..... Actually 748 also reminds me of a sad story....
