Looking for a FAKE 1 Pound coin

I have a pretty nice fake collection, most are from China (bought in China).
I have South Africans, USA many, Dutch, French, French Indochina, what I do not have is a fake 1 pound coin. I read every now and then that 3 % of all pound coins are fake, so it should not be too difficult.

Often the design is not in line with the design from the year it is minted for the 1 pound coin .

regards

Michael

P.S. if there is an interest I could take photos of the fake ones and write why they are fake.

Have you tried eBay? Some unscrupulous sellers might sell you one while insisting that this is a real one. I got a fake Mexican 8 reales at one point and complained to the seller. He agreed to refund my money and didn't request return of that fake coin, so I simply threw it away.  :)

would you like to swap it ?

Hello to Denmark from UK - and welcome to the site.  :)
Good luck for Eurovision tonight - and I read that Spain hope they don't win, as they cannot afford to host it next year. The winning country from one year has to pay to host it the next i.e. 2013.

Anyway - this is one of the better forgeries; the makers got the portrait and reverse the right way up, and the 2003 year does have the correct reverse design. BUT the edge lettering is a mistake in that it is too poorly done, together with the feint milling. Also the reverse is stamped a little offset - it has a thin rim at top right, and a thicker rim at lower left. Here are three images ...

Hi zacUK , I dont mind if Denmark wins , wrt to the economy , but i would not be happy to hear the same song again and again.  The radio stations would kill us by playing the winning song again and again.

wrt the Fake , it looks pretty good for a fake , where as many of may fakes are clearly fake I have one from Indochina where the reverse is a observe from The USA so very easy to spot , but the one you showed i would just use it for shopping and not notice it . thanks for the picture

I had others, but spent them. I know they cannot be sold as fakes as that is illegal, so it is good you asked for it in an exchange!
Though reading the above, does it mean you still want it? I have also now already created a swap, with a few coins from you, to make it worth the postage. So any you choose from me I could add the forgery with them to complete the swap. Thanks  :)
