I was a teacher of English to Chinese students. They love to look at money, and I have an entire series of money devoted to dams.
There is a 'clean energy' unit we taught, and one of the things I would get them to talk about in English was why a dam would be put on a banknote. You'd get unexpected answers, but very good ones.
Money is one of the most awesome cultural tools we often have. I have sold countless $2 overseas to people, who never knew such a thing existed. It is an awesome conversation starter, as well as something that makes us think about culture.
Indeed, the presentation the dam theme in banknotes is done excellently! I've watched another video you made and it was good as well. So, I've subscribed to your YouTube channel! :)
One minor suggestion if you do not mind - maybe it could be a good idea also to show the whole banknote as well, so that your viewers can also appreciate the beauty of the banknote.
"There is a 'clean energy' unit we taught,..."
Well done 'Oklahoma' as you've hit on an expansive & intriguing theme.
Here's two of my favourite examples of dams portrayed on banknotes:
P-110b (20 Rials with the overprint) from Iran &:
P-125a (1 Colone) from El Salvador.
I like both of these because they're inexpensive & I feel the Iranian 20 Rial shows a great example of a unique overprint (plus symbolic of a tumultuous era in Iranian history) & the El Salvadorian banknotes are no longer printed.
There should be good potential for these two to increase in BV down the road.
