Hello,
I want to present my own case.
when I added my coin collection to the Numista, I pinned my Kenyan coins on the first line I saw , and which was not " PROOF" , because I dont care which year exactly I have from that type. I care only if I have a Type.
Now, I changed my pin, and pinned correctly - my coin is different year of course.
I think Alexander is right and such coin does not exist, at least I haired about it times ago , and after that I involving in such conversations about this year. for a long time nobody could show his coin of this yearline.
So,I think year 1979 ( non-proof) should be deleted .
Sad that you have not discovered the 1978 coins with Moi obverse. It exists in 5 denominations: 5, 10, 50 cents, 1 shilling and one 200 shillings in pure silver. Mintage was only 9.500, which might explain the difficulty of finding this type.

Do you have an image of the coin? Where did you get that information from? If the 1978 will go back into Numista it has to be properly documented

Hello, Thank you for quick reply! Yes, I own a set of these coins. In fact I already added the 200 silver coin 1978 to Numista. You will find it there. I also enclose pictures from The Royal Mint edition which shows a never seen quality. The 5 and 10 cents shining like gold. A stunning edition! Best wishes, Olov
