MPCC 2020 - Banknote category

Hello fellow Banknote collectors.

Just to inform, for the first time the MPCC game which will run starting from June will have an extra category for Banknotes.

If you want to participate you can send me pictures of your Banknotes, coins, medals etc. via private message.

Thank you all for the beautifull participations and people who have already sent me their pictures by Private Message.

Don't forget to enter, its the first time that we have a category for Banknotes.
This will give all the possibility to see a wide variety of Banknotes.

Please note that all notes are acceptes, Notgeld, Assignat etc.

​That is awesome! Unfrtuantely all my banknotes are watermarked, and if I'd want to partisipate it would mean I'd have to redo everything from scratch..... (Unless someone could help me how to remove a watermark using Photoshop - but that skill might be abused though....but please send me a PM if someone knows )

Small reminder,

@ ngdawa If your watermark is small I could just overpaint it with a white or Black bar to cover it?

​It will still be too obvious which ones are mine, but I'll see what I can do. I still have a few hundred scanned I haven't edited yet.

Question: Is "Banknotes" the category, or are there sub-categories by continents there as well?

For Banknotes there is this year only one category which comprises of all Banknotes, Notgeld, Assignats etc...

Yes one entry per category so only 1 banknote.

The reason I asked is because coins has the categories:
Categories:
• Australia and Oceania + Antartic territories
• Asia
• North America
• South America
• Africa
• Europe
• Ancients
• Medieval
• Exonumia/Tokens/Primitive currency and Fantasy coinage
• Non-circulating Commemorative coins

So one member can add 10 coins, but only 1 banknote? That seems unfair. Maybe banknotes should be seperated and have its own MPBC?

For this year it is the first time that we see banknotes, a good way I believe as we have expanded our forum and catalogue to banknotes. For this year it will be like that with a sole Banknote category, if the Banknotes category proves succesful I am sure that it will be expanded in the comming year.

A quick reminder.

MPCC submission close in less then 1 week.
we now also have 1 category for any kind of Banknotes, Notgeld, Assignat etc.
for sharing them with others it would be great to see a few more entries in this category.
