Hello
After doing some research it has come to my attention that the 1942 New Zealand One Shilling coin (known as the Maori Hunter shilling, which has a mintage of only 240 thousand coins) is getting extremely hard to find in about uncirculated condition. The coin has literally tripled in value and I am willing to Pay 2,500 dollars for one that is truly uncirculated. Also my company will pay up to 1,500 dollars for a clean MS 62 or higher coin. Amount paid in Dollars or Pounds your choice will be paid with PayPal. I have been speaking with several high end coin dealer friends of mine and they say this coin is fixing to go up in value dramatically, and that being said I want to buy as many as I can in order to build a portfolio. I will also pay up to 300 dollars for one that is average shape. There were 80 thousand of these that were minted with what is called the broken back. The maori hunter's right side of the lower back stops shy of the waist and trails back; I think it was some kind of a die change or and error. If you happen to have this coin I will pay considerably more. This is probably one of the rarest New Zealand coins around and I will buy all I can get. Based on research by several extremely knowledgeable colleagues it is clear that this coin is going to be the new 1916 D Mercury dime and by 2014 or 2015 prices will reflect that. I have 3 friends that have managed to take somewhere between 10 to 30 thousand of these out of circulation and they have been doing this since the inception of eBay and the time to strike is now. If you wish sell we will pay top dollar for this coin. I dont know if a proof version exists but if does please contact me with an asking price.

There are dozens for sale on eBay for well under $100, including a whole bunch of MS examples, including the broke back types. Are any of these listing yours by any chance? If people buy these up hoping to sell them to you for a huge profit are you going to disappear? Why not just buy them off eBay, they are almost all listed with a buy it now price?
You have done all this research and belong to a group who have bought up thousands of these coins but you don't know if there is a proof version?
Looks like some type of pump and dump deal to me.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
maybe they live in new zealand and they are worth that much to new zealand collectors . i stumbled across the pricing for a 1924 denmark 1 krone and was amazed it says 700 bucks for fine conditon thats astonishing but youd never catch me paying 20 bucks for it unless ithought i was gonna sell it and buy a ton of coin i really wanted .that would be the only way
