I did some finding and your note has some interesting background. It’s actually from 1954-1958 not ww2

the value I could not find but by my guesses seeing your condition would be XF and they only made 2 million most reddemed so yours may have a modest value.

on eBay and other sites they are selling the 5-10 cents for 100-200 dollars with yours being 10 dollars it could hold some good value
